Pouring bronze into heated ceramic shells

Geodesic pre-heat furnace is hoisted up. Ceramic shells are ready for pour after heating to about 2000 degrees F.

The crucible is removed from the furnace when bronze is heated to about 2100 degrees F. Next we lift the pre-heat furnace to pour molten bronze into red-hot ceramic shells.

Melting bronze and using a pyrometer to check temperature.
